## 1 Β· Executive View
The week's defining event happened in Bitcoin, and it was a change of
character, not just a change of price. A month-long, unusually methodical
selloff exhausted at a major long-term level, and the market's response β
absorption, reclaim, and now a first higher high β is the standard anatomy
of a tactical bottom forming *inside* a bear structure.
Our posture, stated plainly: the strategic regime remains bearish
(HIGH confidence β weekly structure is broken and every major long-term
average sits overhead), while the tactical state has turned constructive
(MODERATE confidence β the countertrend rally is active and has begun
confirming). Those two statements are not in conflict. Bear markets contain
violent rallies; this has the early mechanics of one.
Elsewhere, the backdrop is quiet in the way that matters: equities firm,
volatility calm, the dollar drifting lower. Nothing in the macro picture is
forcing anyone to sell anything.
## 2 Β· What Changed
The June selling program ended. From mid-June, BTC fell in five near-
identical legs β β5.6%, β5.3%, β6.1%, β5.9%, β5.6% β on volume clustered
within ~13% of its mean. That uniformity is the signature of a large seller
working a position in measured tranches, not organic panic. The final leg
was the smallest in both price damage and volume, and it terminated at
57,800 β almost exactly the 61.8% retracement of the full cycle advance
β on the heaviest volume of the month. Sellers were hitting a thickening
bid, and then they stopped.
July 1 flipped the tape. Through the entire US session our breadth/flow
panel advanced for 26 consecutive 15-minute prints β six hours of
uninterrupted accumulation β while price consolidated above reclaimed 60k.
The session ended with a volume-confirmed breakout (2.4Γ average volume)
through the long-term average at ~60.4k, closing at three-day highs.
July 2β3 confirmed it. The pullback held the reclaimed shelf. Price has
since taken out the prior swing high at 61.3k β the first higher high of
the sequence β and is pressing 61.7k resistance as we publish (spot
~61,740, 3 July morning UTC).
New from our own desk: ZMI's live derivatives-flow lane came online on
the evening of 2 July. Its first readings showed buyer-dominant aggression
at the highs with open interest falling as price rises β the signature
of short covering, not fresh leverage chasing (LOW confidence β hours of
data, single venue; we weight it accordingly and say so).
Named as noise: modest index gains, continued dollar drift, quiet
energy and FX. Routine movement; no interpretation required.
## 3 Β· Why It Matters
Programs end when inventory ends β and unlike sentiment, a program leaves
measurable fingerprints: fixed impact per tranche, fixed volume budget,
decaying effect. The June seller's final leg produced the least damage per
unit of effort, and the low was absorbed rather than extended. What the
tape cannot tell anyone is whether inventory is exhausted or merely paused
β so we treat the turn as tactical until proven otherwise.
What makes this rally worth respecting is the fuel mix: shorts were added
into the lows (open interest rose during the decline), funding never got
crowded, and the book is thin. Rallies against that positioning tend to
overshoot. What keeps it tactical is everything above it: 62.2k and 64.3k
supply zones, and the weekly averages stacked near 70k. This is a trade
location story, not a trend change story β yet.
## 4 Β· Cross-Market Picture
Equities are constructive β the S&P's average stack is bullish with a
trend-continuation pattern; the Nasdaq the same but choppier. Volatility is
asleep: VIX 16.2. The dollar index at 100.9 continues to soften β a
tailwind for risk assets. The yield curve holds at +31bps, normalised, and
our funding-stress proxy is effectively zero. Gold is consolidating below
its highs with a bearish near-term stack.

So then that leaves me to maybe do research into certain areas now. I can be SLT into the research, look about what hardware is running, what software is running. There is a lot of learning in that area, so I guess that's where my focus will be. obviously you have to navigate the space and then you can say what you building towards And if there's any use cases for what you're building. And even better, having your platform etc. means that you're not starting from a clean slate.
